"Come and celebrate peace in the park"

York Peace Festival makes a welcome return to its original home in Rowntree Park after an absence of 5 years. A FREE multicultural community arts festival promoting peace, equality, justice, unity for all, while working in harmony with the environment.

This year will see two stages for live music, dj's, dancers and guest speakers. Playing host to all genres of music including world, folk, blues, country, hip-hop, funk and dance from some of York’s’ best performers.

Fun and creative children’s area that promotes interactive and educational play.

A wide range of stalls for fair-traders, crafts, charities, spiritual, environmental and peace groups.

Also a separate healing area offers a wide range of alternative therapies to try out with performances and workshops throughout the day.
